Hi everyone,

I have two HDDs one is 640GB & the other is 320GB(Both MBR using Legacy boot). The 640GB HDD has Windows 7(in D)& Windows 10(in C) installed but the boot manager is located in the 320GB HDD.

I want to move the boot manager to the 640GB HDD.

My Partitions look like this:

According to EasyBCD the boot drive is E:

I tried to move the boo manager using EasyBCD and when I boot from 640GB HDD it shows me boot manger with no entries.

To move the boot manager from the 320GB HDD to the 640GB HDD, you can follow these steps using EasyBCD, the tool you mentioned: 1. Backup Important Data: Before making changes, ensure all important data is backed up to prevent potential data loss. 2. Install EasyBCD: - If you haven't already, install and open EasyBCD on your Windows system. 3. Add Windows 7 and Windows 10 Entries: - In EasyBCD, add entries for Windows 7 and Windows 10 so they are recognized in the boot menu after transferring the boot manager. 4. Move Boot Manager: - Use EasyBCD to move the boot manager entry from the 320GB HDD to the 640GB HDD. EasyBCD should have an option to select the target drive where the boot manager should reside. 5...

Set the Boot Drive: - Go to the "Advanced Settings" tab in EasyBCD to ensure that the boot drive is correctly set to the correct Windows drive (C: drive, typically). 6. Save the Changes: - Once you have made the changes and configured the boot manager settings in EasyBCD, save the changes within the software. 7. Reboot and Test: - Restart your computer to check if the boot manager has been successfully moved to the 640GB HDD. - Check if you can boot into both Windows 7 and Windows 10 without any issues. If the boot manager entries are not showing up or if there are any errors during boot, you may need to revisit the boot manager settings within EasyBCD. Ensure that Windows 7 and Windows 10 entries are correctly added and the boot drive is set appropriately. Additionally, you may need to repair the boot files using bootrec commands from the Windows installation media if issues persist. Always be cautious when dealing with boot-related settings to avoid any unintended consequences or data loss.
