Sorry if this has been answered before, but I am new and could not find an answer

I have 2 copies of the Win 7 Home Premium upgrades. I want to upgrade 2 different computers so do I have to use the DVD's that came with each package, or will one DVD work for both installs, as long as the different product ID's are used?

When it comes to Windows 7 Home Premium upgrades, each copy typically comes with a unique product key. If you have two copies of the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade, you will need to use the DVD that came with each package for the respective installations. Here's a breakdown of the process: 1. Use the Corresponding DVD: Each copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade will have a DVD that contains the installation files. It's important to use the correct DVD with the corresponding product key. 2. Product Keys: During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the product key. Each product key is unique and is tied to the specific copy of Windows 7. You will need to use the correct product key that came with each upgrade package. 3. Activating Windows: After the installation is complete, you will need to activate Windows using the product key that matches the installation. Activating Windows with an incorrect product key may lead to activation issues. In summary, for two different computers, you should use the DVDs that came with each package along with the corresponding product keys. This ensures that each installation is properly licensed and activated. If you have any further questions or need assistance with the installation process, feel free to ask!
