Firewall and Antivirus Software: - Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer to see if they are blocking the connection to the network drive. 4. Accessing the Drive: - Try accessing the network drive directly by typing its IP address in the file explorer's address bar (e.g., \\192.168.1.1) to see if you can connect to it that way. 5. Resetting the Drive: - If all else fails, you might consider resetting the network drive to its factory settings. There should be a reset button on the device that you can press and hold to initiate the reset process. 6. WD Support: - If none of the above steps work, you may want to contact WD support for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps specific to your model of "My Book Live" network drive. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue of your network drive not being detected despite the solid green light.
