Windows XP My System hanging a lot

My system is hanging in short interval of time.That's really pissing me off.Can i'm one give me solution what's going on in my system .

I'm suing service pack 2

Upgrade to service pack three would be my first suggestion unless your using 64bit?

I'd also check for virus activity and malware.

Did that but whenever i'm listening song of using my system normally.My system freezing and giving distortion sound.aaaa a aa a aa aa aa.

Is somthing wrong with ram or my system need format

Hmm.. Does it only freeze when you listen to music? What are your sound drivers like? Are they updated to the latest versions? Same with all drivers and bios, make sure it's the latest versions for your system. Have you considered upgrading to Windows 7 or is machine too old?

Try to clean the CPU from dust using blower & clean RAM properly & insert in into the another spare slot. That will definitely work!
