Windows XP Nero 7 not compatible with windows 7

I bought a new PC with windows 7; but I can't use Nero 7 for burning DVDs.
Is there a way to do it?

Try a minimal installation such as only Nero Burning ROM in Vista compatibility mode.

You should be able to install it. Then try right clicking the shortcut and setting the compatibility to XP SP2. Or you could get the Windows XP Mode for Windows 7, and install it in there.
