I got my new comp today, was told that Win 7 would already be installed. turned it on & get this on the monitor, choose which boot device or boot disk, restart comp then press any key to continue. Shouldn't it start up with wind 7 if it is already installed ?
So I then try to boot from disk & it starts to install win 7, but then this pops up on the screen & I can't get any further, why ?

From where did you get this PC and the disc. Does the PC have a COA sticker that looks something like this:

yes it does have that, bought from a business in Parramata , Sydney

The keo on the COA sticker is relevant. Use this procedure to reinstall:

Solution
Thanks will do that first thing in the morning, will let you know if it work or not.

Let us know how it went.

Your going to kill yourself laughing, cause I bloody did.
The problem was so obvious I could kick myself up the bum.
One of the wire connection plug wasn't connected so of course it won't work if its not connected up properly will it.
Thanks for the advice though & maybe other forum members should check their comp wiring first when a problem pops up.
LMAO

Hmm, the obvious sometimes does not occur to us.
