New Star Trek Series Reportedly in the Works

Star Trek fans should be happy. Latest media reports indicate that a new series has been in a planning phase since at least 2006. The new series is reportedly being developed by David Foster and will totally ignore the J.J. Abrams movie Star Trek made in 2009.

If and when the new series starts, I hope its not disappointing. I'm not a fan of drama, such as what Battlestar Galactica was based around.
