Windows XP Newer DiskPart on WinXP?

Recently read that newer DiskPart (ie Win 7) will work with Flash Drives (while XP will Not).

Am wondering if anyone has been able to run a newer version on XP?

If yes, please describe what you did.

Forgot to mention found this info in "Resetting a USB stick or SD card using Windows" and specific "The following instructions do not work on Windows XP. The version of Diskpart on Windows XP does not list removable disks" Could not post URL since this is my 1st post. If needed would be glad to provide!

Well since XP is EOL there isn't a newer version of it and won't be, and you are correct diskpart in XP will not see removable storage.
