Windows 7 No sound.... agian..

Hey guys so i just installed W7 and i got a problem.. I have no sound at all. Im runnning intel pentium e2140 and asus p5gc-mx/1333 with on board sound, no sound card. when i click on the digital audio (s/dif) in the corner it shows that my speakers are not plugged in when they clearly are... i installed realtek hd audio but the same problem... any suggestions?
