Hello,
I've recently installed Windows 7 on my system and at first everything was ok, but after I restarted my pc, the sound was gone. I checked device manager, uninstalled and installed audio drivers again and the sound came back again. After another restart, the sound was gone again. This happens every time I restart my pc.

Could someone help me with this? It's really annoying to install audio drivers again and again and not all my family members know how to do that :/

I use realtek via hd audio or something like that.
That's what ubuntu showed me:

It seems like you're facing an issue with the audio drivers on your Windows 7 system, specifically with Realtek VIA HD Audio. The problem where the sound disappears after restarting the PC could be due to driver conflicts or driver updates getting overridden during the restart process. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Reinstall Audio Drivers in Compatibility Mode: - Uninstall the Realtek audio driver completely. - Download the latest driver from the Realtek website specific to your system and Windows 7. - Right-click on the driver setup file, go to Properties, and then to the Compatibility tab. - Check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 7 from the dropdown. -...

Disable Driver Signature Enforcement: - Sometimes driver signature enforcement can cause issues with driver installations. You can temporarily disable this feature to see if it helps. - Reboot your computer and press F8 during startup to enter Advanced Boot Options. - Select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" and then proceed with reinstalling the audio driver. 3. Update Windows 7: - Ensure that your Windows 7 system is fully up to date with the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, system updates can include driver fixes. 4. Check Startup Programs: - There might be a program or service that interferes with the audio driver on startup. Check the startup programs in Task Manager and disable any that might cause conflicts. 5. BIOS Settings: - Check if there are any specific BIOS settings related to audio or audio drivers. Ensure they are configured correctly. 6. System File Checker: - Run a System File Checker scan to check for and repair corrupted system files that could be affecting the audio driver stability. 7. Check Realtek Audio Manager: - Once the driver is installed, check the Realtek Audio Manager settings to ensure everything is configured correctly. Try these steps, and hopefully, one of them will help resolve the issue with the sound disappearing after restarting your PC. Let me know if you need more detailed instructions on any of these steps!
