Basically, I know that this .sys file is not in the folders it it was in. I ws was, because I think it came from nVidia's Pureideo Decoder. I had installed it to my new install of Windows 7 Pro x64. I then uninstalled it to "fix" a different problem (thepfc.sys_ errors.
My question is, I have been looking around a awful lot foreither the file to put into the expected folder or delete a registry key somewhere. I am not sure what I could/Should do? I also would like to know if Windows 7 Pro x64 even needs this software? I just read that the x64 Vista didn't need it in a thread elsewhere (back in 2006, I think).
If it be the case that I do not need Pureideo for this OS and I can get the MPEG2/4 and stuff via Windows MEdia Player 8, or iTunes, then I would just need to find the right key(s) and/or Data to expunge.
