Windows 7 old games are not running

iam using windows7 32bit,dell inspiron 1525.iam not able to play
prince of persia old games.it is a 16 bit ms dos game.and it is showing an error message that
the system does not support full screen mode.'choose close to terminate the application
.

how can i solve the problem.

try dosbox or virtual machine and pray it's supported, otherwise get newer games.

Use DOSBox:
DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS

It works perfectly.
