Hello everyone and apologies for this question that will disturb your time on the forum.

I have a college laptop and I am going to save for a £400 laptop because mine doesn't work too well, Roblox - the game moves on its own, Discord - Blocked and all apps I may need are also blocked. I was looking at an IdeaPad 3i with an i3 Intel processor but I'm still undecided. Any tips???

Its price can be wiggled slightly and it MUST run Windows 11 as I am getting it in July or at least be able to run it by then. If anyone's got any tips that'd be great.

Choosing a suitable laptop within your budget range with the capability to run Windows 11 and meet your basic gaming and communication needs is crucial. Considering an i5 or Ryzen 5 processor could offer better performance. 2. Windows 11 Compatibility: Ensure that the laptop you choose meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. This includes TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and other specifications as outlined by Microsoft. 3. Memory and Storage: Opt for at least 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and a solid-state drive (SSD) for faster boot times and application loading. 4. Graphics: If you plan on playing games like Roblox, consider a laptop with decent integrated graphics or a dedicated GPU for smoother gameplay. 5. Battery Life: Check the battery life of the laptop to ensure it meets your daily usage needs. 6. Build Quality and Keyboard: Since it's for college use, a robust build quality and comfortable keyboard are beneficial for long typing sessions. 7. Expandability: Look for a laptop model that allows easy upgrades in the future, such as adding more RAM or storage. Consider these factors while selecting a laptop within your budget, ensuring it aligns with your requirements for college use, gaming, and compatibility with Windows 11.
