After using Photo Story 3 successfully for many years with XP, I downloaded the latest version from Microsoft Photo Story 3 download site onto new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium. No problems with download, however the motion customisation frame for any image does not respond to dragging by the mouse. I have tried both 16bit and 32 bit monitor resolutions and also the "Troubleshoot Compatibilty" feature associated with the .msi install file but with no success. Can anyone assist please? Many thanks.

Update Graphics Drivers: - Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause compatibility issues. 4. Disable Display Scaling on High DPI Settings: - Right-click on the program's shortcut or executable file. - Go to "Properties" > "Compatibility" tab. - Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" under Settings. 5. Reinstall Photo Story 3: - Uninstall Photo Story 3 from your PC. - Download the setup file again from the Microsoft Photo Story 3 download site and reinstall it. 6. Check Mouse Settings: - Ensure that your mouse settings are configured correctly. Try using a different mouse to see if the issue persists. 7. Check System Settings: - Make sure that your system settings are optimized for performance. Ensure that no background processes are interfering with the program. By following these steps, you may be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the motion customization frame in Photo Story 3 not responding to mouse dragging on your Windows 7 system. If the issue persists, you may need to consider alternative photo storytelling software that is compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium.
