Windows 7 problem with explorer.exe?

Hello. I have a problem. I installed the system (windows7) about an hour ago, I downloaded all avalible updates and still the problem persists. You see, the system stops responding when I want to enter the properties of the system, some control panel options, whether or not I had a problem running Windows Update. Please help. And sorry for my weak English.

Did you install an antivirus yet? If so, this would most likely be the issue. You can remove it with the special tool found here, in safe mode:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

I recommend using MSE for antivirus because it is resource friendly and never causes freeze/bsod issues.
