Hello,

I have this issue with some programs, but at this one really much, and I was wondering if you know a solution.

The program is 3ds max 9.

A description of the problems: old screens that are moved, and then closed or minimized; stay in the current view, even with 3ds Max only active. Also sometimes just black instead of an old screen. Anyways; I can't see all view ports very well; if I click at one it becomes better visible, but the others stay like this.

I didnt had this issue with WindowsXP.

It seems like you are encountering some display issues with 3ds Max 9 on your Windows system, specifically related to old screens that are moved, closed, or minimized, remaining in the current view even with 3ds Max as the active window. This issue was not present when you were using Windows XP. Let's explore some potential solutions to address this problem: 1. Compatibility Mode: - Right-click on the 3ds Max 9 shortcut or executable. - Select "Properties" and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. - Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP" from the dropdown list. - Apply the changes and try running 3ds Max 9 again to see if the issue persists. 2. Update Graphics Drivers: -...

Update Graphics Drivers: - Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can sometimes cause display issues. Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. You can usually find the latest drivers on the website of your graphics card manufacturer. 3. Adjust Graphics Settings: - Access the graphics settings within 3ds Max 9 or your graphics card control panel. - Try adjusting settings related to OpenGL, DirectX, or GPU acceleration to see if that resolves the display problems. 4. Check for Windows Updates: - Make sure that your Windows system is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, system updates can address compatibility issues with certain software. 5. Monitor Resolution and Scaling: - Ensure that your monitor resolution and scaling settings are appropriate for 3ds Max 9. High-resolution displays or scaling settings that are too high can sometimes cause display anomalies. 6. Reset 3ds Max settings: - If the issue persists, you can try resetting the 3ds Max settings to default. This can often resolve various display-related issues. Try these steps and see if they help resolve the display problems you are experiencing with 3ds Max 9 on your Windows system. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions.
