I did the upgrade from Vista Home Premium x64 to W7 HP x64 in 45 minutes.

You should have no major problems

All seems to have gone good, didn't take that long did a clean install from Vista home premium 32bit to 7 home premium 64bit, installed the 64bit drivers from HP for my system, Avast home - updated, ran Windows updates but didn't install drivers for my sound or wireless from there, went to the Chinese buffet got carry out and came home and ate.

Now I have some programs to install and get my files back on from my usb hd.

Seems to be faster but that could all be in my head too!
