My friend lend me her computer and wanted me to fix her computer. I am wondering if there is a way to repair the computer without accessing her user account?

Thanks

If your friend has lent you her computer and you need to fix it without accessing her user account, there are several ways to approach this depending on the issue at hand. Here are a few methods you can try: 1. Startup Repair: You can perform a startup repair using the Windows Recovery Environment. This can fix issues that prevent Windows from booting properly. 2. System Restore: If the computer is experiencing software-related issues, you can try using System Restore to revert the system to a previous state when it was working correctly. 3. Advanced Startup Options: Access the advanced startup options by restarting the computer and pressing a specific key (usually F8 or Shift + Restart) to access troubleshooting...

Advanced Startup Options: Access the advanced startup options by restarting the computer and pressing a specific key (usually F8 or Shift + Restart) to access troubleshooting options like Safe Mode, Command Prompt, System Restore, and more. 4. Create a Bootable USB: You can create a bootable USB drive with Windows installation files and use it to repair or reinstall Windows without accessing the user account. 5. Reset this PC: If the issue persists and a repair is not feasible, you can consider resetting the PC. This will remove all personal files and settings but can help resolve system issues. 6. Use Command Prompt: You can use Command Prompt to troubleshoot and fix various issues such as repairing the Master Boot Record (MBR) or running system scans. Before attempting any of these solutions, it's important to back up any crucial data on the computer to prevent data loss during the repair process. These methods should help you address a range of issues without needing to access the user account directly.
