Windows 7 Save Money on Backups: Use Built-in Windows 7/8 Software Instead of Paid Family Packs

If you want to back up your computers you have to buy afamily pack for 3 times the price. A couple of years ago before the familypacks you could put software on all your personal computers but now you have tohave a license for each "Personal" computer. So why pay a hundreddollars for your backup software when you can use the Windows 7 and Windows 8build in software backup?
 
There are mixed feelings on the reliability of Windows 7 backup. I use Acronis True Image 2010 and do the backup images from the boot disk. I have the drive partitioned with system on one and data on the other. A backup or restore of the system takes about 20 or less depending on the backup drive.
