Windows 7 saved games in windows 7

Been playing game tomb raider angel of darkness and got stuck. I downloaded a saved game from the internet but can't find where to put it, I looked in the games folder but nothing there, the game saves games so they must go somewhere,but where?

it should have a path such as "program files x86\Eidos Interactive\TRAOD\SaveGame" if the folder isnt there then make it. Alternate paths would be in "my documents" or "my games", also some use the hidden user folders "roaming and local"

Where can I configure my PC to actually SAVE GAMES.
I don't remember doing something to delete that, but I know that games were saved automatically before.
Do you know where I can change the settings?
