It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the color tone on your Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit system. If the color tone is split in half but it's not an issue with the monitor, there could be a few things you can try to troubleshoot and potentially fix the problem. Here are some steps you can take:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Update Graphics Drivers:
    • Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues.
    • You can check for driver updates by visiting the website of your graphics card manufacturer and downloading the latest drivers for your specific model.
    []Check Display Settings:
    • Right-click on the desktop and select "Screen Resolution."...

    • Verify that the display settings are correct for your monitor. Make sure the resolution and color settings are appropriate.
    [
    ]Calibrate Color Settings:
    • Windows includes a built-in tool for calibrating color settings. You can access it by searching for "Color Management" in the Control Panel.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate and adjust color settings.
    []Check Cable Connections:
    • Ensure that the cable connecting your monitor to the computer is securely plugged in on both ends.
    • Try using a different cable to rule out any issues with the current one.
    [
    ]Test with Another Monitor:
    • If possible, connect your computer to another monitor to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the monitor or the computer.
    []System Restore:
    • Consider using System Restore to revert your system back to a point where the color issue was not present.
    • Search for "System Restore" in the Start menu to access this feature.
    [
    ]Check for Software Changes:
    • Think about any recent software installations or updates that might have coincided with the issue. Try uninstalling or rolling back these changes if possible. By following these steps, you may be able to identify and resolve the color tone issue on your Windows 7 system. If the problem persists, please provide more details, and I can assist further.
