I bought new computer from Gateway recently and ordered Window 7 for free... however at the part of confirming order - the server error pops up and i don't know if my order did got completed or not...

I tried to order again but I can't use the serial number again because I already used it from previous order...
I contacted to Gateway via email and no reply yet... so for more help, i'm posting here for help if anyone can help me....

Solution
It seems like you encountered a server error while trying to order Windows 7 from Gateway. The error message indicates a "System.NullReferenceException," which typically means that the code is trying to access a reference (or object) that is currently null, resulting in an error. Here's what you can do to address this issue: 1. Contact Gateway Support: Since you've already reached out to Gateway via email and are awaiting a response, it's essential to give them some time to get back to you. They should be able to check if your order went through or not despite the error. 2. Avoid Reordering: As you mentioned, you can't reuse the serial number for a new order. Avoid trying to reorder until you get confirmation from Gateway to...

Avoid trying to reorder until you get confirmation from Gateway to prevent any confusion or issues with your order. 3. Check Order Status: If Gateway has an online portal where you can check your order status, try logging in with your account details to see if the order shows up there. 4. Keep Records: Make sure to keep records of your communication with Gateway, including emails, order numbers (if generated), and any other relevant information for future reference. As server errors are often on the service provider's end, it's crucial to wait for their response. If you don't hear back within a reasonable time frame, you may need to follow up with them again. Additionally, if you require further technical assistance, you can provide more details for troubleshooting.
