My PC takes approximately 90 seconds to boot! The HDD constantly reads/writes when windows has booted. My system:Win7x64, i7 920, gtx 560, 6 gig ram, Western digital 650 gig HDD, Asus p6 deluxe MB.

Solution
I would first check to see what and how many apps are starting with Windows. Use an app like What's In Startup to determine this and to stop and/or delete those apps you don't need. Unfortunately when you install S/W, they all seem to want to start and run in the background. Each app takes time to start and consumes resources when running in the background.

I would also clean out all temp junk once in a while. Use an app such as Link Removed for this chore.
