I found in another answer/forum how to change the repeat rate in regedit. I made sure the flag was set to 59 and changed the repeat rate from 300 to 100. My question is: how low can you go in that setting or is 100 a good place to stay?

Repeat keys seem to be working a lot better. Changing the keyboard rates in the control panel didn't make even the slightest difference - on slow or fast it was the same. Windows 10 Pro Ver 1909

Setting the repeat rate in the Windows Registry can be more granular compared to the standard control panel options. The default value for KeyboardDelay and KeyboardSpeed in the Registry is 31. Lowering the value should make key repeating faster. However, setting it too low might make it challenging to control the repeat rate effectively.
  • KeyboardDelay: This value determines how long you need to hold down a key before it starts repeating.
  • KeyboardSpeed: This value controls how quickly a key repeats.
Lowering these values can speed up key repeat, but finding the right balance is essential. While setting it to 100 might be working better for you currently, you can experiment with slightly lower values to see the...

It's a matter of personal preference and what feels comfortable for your typing style. Remember, making changes in the Windows Registry can impact system behavior, so proceed with caution and make sure to create a backup or a system restore point before making significant adjustments.
