The BSOD also shows errors from other sources than afd.sys, but recently it has started after hibernate also. In most cases the BSOD happens when playing youtube videos for more than 10 minutes, and it starts with the audio sounding distorted and looping and then it crashes.

Please run the system file checker. Open the start menu, find command prompt and right click on it. Click 'run as admin' and then type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.
You especially need to update the driver here:

The 2007 version has been known to cause bsods under windows 7. Your manufacturers website ( link below ) does carry a later version. Please update.
After that you need to update your drivers which I notice the website does carry some later versions:
