Hi!

I have Live gamer HD capture card. The card only supports 3.5 mm jack for audio but I have gamer USB headsets. Is there a way to split audio that it streams on USB headset and 3.5 jack at the same time?

I found a program named Virtual sound card that did just that, but the sound lagged a bit and the sound on the recording is about half of a second late.

Thanks

It seems like you're looking for a way to split the audio output from your USB headset and the 3.5 mm jack simultaneously while using your Live Gamer HD capture card. One common issue with using virtual sound cards for this purpose is the potential for sound lag and synchronization problems. To achieve simultaneous audio output to both your USB headset and the 3.5 mm jack without experiencing lag or synchronization issues, you could consider using a hardware solution instead of relying solely on software. One option is to use an audio mixer or a splitter that can take the audio signal and split it into multiple outputs in real time. Here's a general outline of how you could set this up: 1. Audio Mixer/Splitter: Invest in an audio mixer or splitter that can take the audio signal and split it between your USB headset and the 3.5 mm jack. 2. Connection Setup: - Connect the audio output of your computer to the audio mixer/splitter. - Connect the USB headset to one output of the mixer/splitter. - Connect the 3.5 mm jack of the Live Gamer HD capture card to the other output of the mixer/splitter. 3. Adjustment: - Depending on the mixer/splitter you choose, you may need to adjust the volume levels for each output to ensure the sound is balanced and synced. 4. Testing: - Test the setup to ensure that both your USB headset and the Live Gamer HD capture card receive the audio simultaneously without any noticeable lag or synchronization issues. By using a hardware solution like an audio mixer or splitter, you can avoid the lag and synchronization problems that often occur when using virtual sound cards for this purpose. This setup should allow you to have simultaneous audio output on both your USB headset and the 3.5 mm jack connected to your Live Gamer HD capture card with better synchronization.
