Hello! It's great to see that you're seeking help with your Task Manager issue. If your Task Manager is always running on your Windows 11 computer, there are a few possible reasons and solutions to consider:
  1. Software or System Issue: Sometimes, a piece of software or a system process can cause the Task Manager to continuously run in the background.
Try performing a clean boot to start Windows with minimal drivers and startup programs to determine if a specific software or process is causing the issue. If the problem no longer occurs in clean boot mode, you can gradually add services and start-up items back until you identify the one causing the problem.
  2. Malware or Virus: Malware or viruses can sometimes interfere with your system processes, including the Task Manager. Run a full scan with your antivirus software to check for any infections. Consider using a reputable antivirus program, such as Windows Defender Security Center, to ensure thorough scanning and potential removal of any harmful software.
  3. Corrupted System Files: Corrupted system files can also cause issues with the Task Manager. You can use the built-in System File Checker (SFC) tool to scan and repair any corrupted files. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following command: sfc /scannow. After the scan is complete, restart your computer.
  4. Third-Party Software Conflicts: If you've recently installed any new software, it's possible that it may be conflicting with the Task Manager. Try uninstalling any recently installed applications to see if that resolves the issue.
  5. Update Windows 11: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Windows 11. Sometimes, Microsoft releases updates that include fixes for known issues, including Task Manager-related issues. If none of the above solutions resolve the problem, you may want to consider seeking further assistance from Microsoft Support or the Windows community forums specific to Windows 11. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or address any underlying issues specific to your system. I hope this helps you resolve the Task Manager issue. If you have any further questions or need more assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck!
