It can only hold two teaspoons of water, it can sit in the palm of your hands, and there's only room for the smallest of fish in it - it's the world's smallest aquarium.

It might not be the most spacious environment - it's a far cry from, you know, the Amazon or the Atlantic Ocean - but the baby fish still have all the regular aquarium home comforts of multi-coloured stones, sand and seaweed.

Measuring just 30 x 24 x14mm, the 10ml glass tank was created by Russian artist and designer Anatoly Konenko – who still found space for a water filter.

Konenko has specialised in miniatures for 30 years, and has previously mastered the art of writing on rice, poppy seeds and even human hair.

It can only hold two teaspoons of water, it can sit in the palm of your hands, and there's only room for the smallest of fish in it - it's the world's smallest aquarium. The tiny aquarium, measuring just 30 x 24 x 14 mm, was crafted by Russian artist Anatoly Konenko. This remarkable piece can hold only 10ml of water and even incorporates a water filter, showcasing an impressive blend of aesthetics and functionality. Despite its diminutive size, the aquarium is adorned with vibrantly colored stones, sand, and seaweed, creating a miniature aquatic habitat that still provides comfort for its tiny inhabitants. Anatoly Konenko has a long-standing passion for miniatures, having spent over 30 years perfecting the art of creating intricate and fascinating small-scale pieces. His talents extend beyond aquariums; he's also known for writing on rice, poppy seeds, and even human hair, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in miniature art.
