Trouble with Windows System Restore: Error Due to Antivirus Conflict

When I try to do a restore on windows, to any restore point I get an error message. I do turn off my firewall and anti virus when trying to restore.

Hi Peter,
which anti-virus suite do you use? If it's either Bitdefender or Norton it may help if you uninstalled the AV. See this link:

How ya doin? I think you are probably right about having to remove Norton 365. I tried some tips but not got anywhere yet.

I'm good thanks Peter.. I guess you could always re-install Norton if it didn't prove to be the issue. Use the removal tool to get rid of Norton:
Uninstall your Norton product using Norton Removal Tool

Hi, maybe you could use another software like AOMEI Backupper to restore system. With this freeware, things may go easier. and maybe you can restore Windows 10 system image backup successfully.
