Windows Vista Troubleshooting BSOD Issues With Minidump File

Hello,
I am having issues with a BSOD, and I have the minidump file to send in this thread.
I am not sure why this happened.
I'm hoping this is the correct way to send it.

Hi,
do you have the driver verifier running? If so it's caught the above driver which belongs to Avast AV. Remove Avast and use something like MSE in it's place as it's ultra stable. You can always install avast again we just want to find out if it's causing the bsod.

I have removed Avast and Disabled verifier. I'm sorry for the very late reply.
I also installed MSE..unfortunately, I just had another BSOD, a few minutes ago. I guess I'll have to send another file. But, that did help me to follow your instructions.

Hi,
the above bugcheck means a critical process was terminated for whatever reason although it does say the probable cause is the hard disk but testing will prove either way.
Please run a chkdsk using the guide linked below. Please make sure that whichever way you choose to run the chkdsk that you search for and repair broken sectors:

Please update your chipset driver. You can download a version from your support page although you have to look under the xp section to find it. It is dated 2008 so is a later version than the one on the machine:
