Windows 7 Uanble to play dvds with 7 home premium media player

I insert a dvd and it opens media player automatically, goes to a full screen then it doesnt do anything else. The slider doesnt move and pushing play doesnt work. My rom is set to the correct zone as well. Dvds are originals. Does play with VLC and media player classic but would like to use the built in media player. It plays music cds , loads games from dvds ect just fine, but no luck with movies :confused:

No they dont, have also tried that. Have looked for dvd rom drivers but it doesnt use any stand alone drivers, just windows drivers i think.
