Windows 7 Unaccessible Files

Certain files cannot be accessed whatsoever by me. I have taken ownership of them, all files in them (using a registry hack), and their parent file. Whenever I double-click on them it invariably says: Access is denied.
Files include:

• C:\System Volume Information\SystemRestore
  
• C:\System Volume Information\{3808876b-c176-4e48-b7ae-04046e6cc752}.sys

• C:\System Volume Information\desktop.ini
  
• C:\System Volume Information\MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase.sys
  
• C:\System Volume Information\Syscache.hve
  
• C:\System Volume Information\Syscache.hve.LOG1
  
• C:\System Volume Information\Syscache.hve.LOG2
  
• C:\System Volume Information\tracking.log
• C:\$RECYCLE.BIN\S-1-5-18
• C:\$RECYCLE.BIN\S-1-5-21-1498137137-3492500151-2336927090-500

If you have any ideas, post them.

They are hidden / protected system files / parts. I tested it, and I couldn't open them.

Unless you really and truly know what you are doing, I recommend to leave them as they are. The risk for messing your system is high. The info they have, is not of true value for a common user.

I appear to have been able to acess them by adding my own username to the security properties window, rather than letting the "Administrators" general user group define the permissions.

Okay, but be careful with what you do. The plain "System Volume Information" indicates you may be on thin ice,
