I did the Creators update to W10 today, but now the icons on the desktop are goofed up – they cannot be positioned near the edges, and if you try to move them there, they jump into the screen instead about 2”.
And on the bottom, they can’t be placed more than about ¼” from the taskbar, and trying that, they again jump instead to the interior, and sometimes if adjacent to another icon, cause it to jump/move.

Changes are that you have a different display driver or a wrong screen resolution or a wrong setting for aligning the desktop icons.
Aligning the icons:
Right click on the desktop background, select the first option Screen, there you find the options Automatic aligning and Align to raster, try clearing both
Screen resolution:
Again right click on the desktop background, select Screen settings, there you find the screen resolution settings. Select the advised value
Display driver:
Press Windows Key and X, select Device Control, open Screen Adapters, can you tell me which adapter it has?
