Introduction

Greetings Windows Insiders, We are delighted to unveil Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3785 (KB5039319) in the Beta Channel. This update reflects our commitment to enhancing the Windows 11 experience for users.

Changes and Improvements

Changes and Improvements:
  • Copilot in Windows: The Copilot experience on Windows has evolved into an app that is now pinned to the taskbar. This transformation enables users to enjoy a traditional app experience, including the ability to resize, move, and snap the window. Please note that managed commercial devices will not receive this new experience.
  • Start Menu Enhancements: Users can now access jump lists for apps pinned to the Start menu, such as PowerPoint. Additionally, it's now possible to pin apps from the Start menu directly to the taskbar or desktop by dragging and dropping items.
  • Desktop Spotlight Adjustments: Windows Spotlight experience on the desktop has been refined to enhance engagement, providing users with more options to interact with images.
  • Windows Share Feature Update: Share content to an Android device from the Windows share window has been introduced, allowing easy sharing following device pairing.

Fixes Gradually Introduced

  • Taskbar & System Tray: Addressed an issue where the taskbar failed to appear for some Insiders in recent flights.
  • File Explorer: Resolved issues causing screen readers not to announce when opening or navigating items in the File Explorer.
  • Start Menu: Fixed the issue where clicking the profile icon on the Start menu and selecting "Change account settings" did not open account settings.

Known Issues

  • Investigations are ongoing regarding issues with Internet Information Services (IIS) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) after installing the update.
  • Settings may crash when trying to view Wi-Fi properties.

Conclusion
