Hi,
I have installed a VM in hyper-v on my Windows Server 2016.
The OS that I have installed in the VM is a Windows Server 2016 that I'm thinking of to use as a LAB.

However, I can't figure out how to install the Guest OS? It's stating to click on the "action" in the meny when the VM running and then click on something like "Insert Integration Services Setup Disk"
But I don't have that option.

How can I install that?

are you sure this is hyper-v and not wmware?
  • vmware = a Vdisc to install from like an iso file

  • or the services

  • in hyper-v your iso file goes here

  • or you can add a service (the host allows) from here

  • it could also be asking if you want an enhanced session (w8.1, server12r2 or w10 builds only)... this allows remote systems to use local host resources that a VM would not normally get to see and can...
It's likely the integration services are already running.

Look in device manager for the following
