It sounds like you're experiencing a screen freeze issue after the system boots up. Since restoring to an earlier point did not resolve the problem, we can explore other troubleshooting steps to address this issue. Here are a few suggestions you can try: 1. Safe Mode Boot: Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If the problem doesn't occur in Safe Mode, it might indicate a third-party software or driver causing the freeze. 2. Check for Driver Updates: Ensure all your drivers are up to date, especially graphics card drivers. Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause screen freeze issues. 3. Check Event Viewer: Look for any error messages in the Event Viewer that might provide more information about what's...

Check Event Viewer: Look for any error messages in the Event Viewer that might provide more information about what's causing the screen freeze. 4. Disable Startup Programs: Reduce the number of programs that start with Windows. You can use the Task Manager to disable startup programs. 5. Run System File Checker (SFC) and Check Disk (CHKDSK): These tools can help identify and fix corrupted system files or disk errors that might be causing the freeze. 6. Perform a System File Check: - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. - Allow the scan to complete. 7. Check for Malware: Run a full system scan with an antivirus program to check for any malware that could be causing the freeze. 8. Check for Overheating: Ensure that your system is not overheating, as overheating can also cause freezes. Clean out any dust from fans and ensure proper ventilation. 9. Update Windows: Make sure your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, updates can fix known issues. 10. Check Hardware: If the issue persists, it may be related to hardware problems. You can run hardware diagnostics to check the health of your hardware components. By following these steps, you can narrow down the cause of the screen freeze issue on your Windows 7 system. If the issue still persists after trying these steps, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
