Microsoft is excited to announce the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3858 (KB5039327) to the Beta Channel, introducing new features and improvements that enhance the user experience for Windows Insiders.Key Updates and Changes
Enhancements Being Gradually Rolled Out:- File Explorer: Preview thumbnail titles in the taskbar, ALT + Tab, and Task View for File Explorer windows will now indicate if multiple tabs are open.
- Windows Share: Minor UI changes have been implemented to simplify the Windows share window by removing the search box.
- For Developers: The "End Task" option in the taskbar no longer displays a Not Responding dialog for confirming task termination.
- Other Updates: The Run dialog now follows text scaling adjustments under Settings > Accessibility > Text size.
Fixes Gradually Being Rolled Out:
- Various accessibility issues in File Explorer, Common File Dialog (CFD), and Browse/Shortcuts Dialogs have been addressed, ensuring appropriate responses to text size and scaling preferences.
- The issue causing some users to see a thin line between the tab and address bar in File Explorer has been resolved.
- Improvements have been made to File Explorer reliability and the clarity of the OneDrive icon in the address bar.
Fixes for Everyone in the Beta Channel:
- Issues related to Voice Typing errors in certain languages have been resolved.
- The app icon flashing in the taskbar has been refined for better visibility.
- Users can now utilize OneDrive as a RemoteApp in Azure Virtual Desktop, with enhancements to Virtual Filtering Platform (VFP) for easier troubleshooting and improved network packet processing.
Known Issues to be Aware Of:
- Investigation is ongoing for issues related to the All apps list and app sorting within certain display languages.
- Work is in progress to address text suggestion issues with hardware keyboards and widget alignment challenges on left-aligned taskbars.
