3. Run Installation as Administrator:
- Right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator" to give the installer the necessary permissions to make changes to the system.
4. Clean Boot:
- Perform a clean boot of your system before installing. This helps in minimizing background processes that could be causing conflicts.

5. Check for Updates:
- Make sure your operating system is up to date. Updates often contain fixes for known issues that might be affecting the installation process.
6. Re-download the Installer:
- The installer file might be corrupted. Try downloading a fresh copy from the official source to rule out any issues with the installer itself.
7. Install in Safe Mode:
- Boot into Safe Mode and try to install Photo Gallery. Safe Mode loads the minimum essential drivers and services, which can help identify if a third-party software is causing the hang.
8. Check Event Viewer:
- Look into the Windows Event Viewer for any error messages or logs related to the installation process. This can provide more insights into what might be causing the hang.
9. Use Compatibility Mode:
- Try running the installer in compatibility mode. Right-click on the installer, go to Properties, then Compatibility tab, and select an older version of Windows.
10. Contact Support:
- If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to the software's support team for specific guidance on resolving installation issues.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the Photo Gallery installation hanging at 67%.
