Solution
I can help you troubleshoot the issue with Windows Explorer on your ASUS K40IN laptop running Windows 7 Professional. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

Restart Windows Explorer

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. In the Processes tab, find "Windows Explorer" in the list.
  3. Right-click on it and choose "Restart."

    Check for System File Errors

  4. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
  5. Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. This will scan your system files for errors and repair them if possible.

    Check for Malware

  6. Run a full scan with your antivirus software to check for any malware or viruses that might be affecting Windows Explorer.

    Update Windows
