Ok so as a fix to play Fallout 3 it turns out windows media player could't play .ogg files. I was getting an error along the lines of, windows media player cant play this because bla bla bla. So then i went and got the codec for ogg files from the vorbis site and that didn't work at all! Now after several restarts, removing any other codecs and cleaning my registry(with ccleaner) i keep getting the error, "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." And its with every damn ogg files i try to play! Someone please help i have spend days trying to fix this as its the only way i can play fallout 3 without it crashing.

In the past I was always on the look for some codec I missed on my system...

Since I installed Shark007's Free Codec solutions WMP just plays everything I throw at it !

I can not guarantee that this will resolve your problem, codec's are always difficult and sometimes even dangerous. Please make a restore point before you try !
