This wonderful tool removes bloatware aka crapware from your PC. Note that it only removes apps i.e. Microsoft-installed apps and those installed from the Microsoft Store. It will not remove installed programs like Adobe Reader, Foxit, etc.

I have used it on Windows 10 and Windows 11. It works on windows 11 with this caveat: if you click on [CUSTOMISE BLOCKLIST] after your final viewing of C:\custom-lists.ps1 the tool will lose some of your edits ... even if you change nothing.

YES it works on Windows 11 also

No need to download

=> start Powershell in Admin mode

=> PS > iwr -useb Link Removed

Windows10Debloater-1.webp

Windows10Debloater - Main Screen

most of this is self-explanatory

suggest you never use [REMOVE ALL BLOATWARE]
- you are using the tool's definition of bloatware
- not your definition; you will have to reinstall lots

FIRST

Make a list of apps you want to keep; some apps have multiple entries

click [CUSTOMISE BLOCKLIST]

Windows10Debloater-2.webp

Windows10Debloater - Customize Screen

some items are non-removable

check items you want to get rid of
clear items you want to keep
- careful: some items are listed multiple times

2. click [Save] and close the Customize window

3. edit the file C:\custom-lists.ps1

this file contains 2 sections: top (keep) and bottom (remove)
make sure you are not removing an item you want to keep
again: some items have multiple entries

go to step 1 if you need to make changes

4. click [REMOVE BLOATWARE WITH CUSTOM BLOCKLIST]

this will take time...

I appreciate you sharing your experience with using Windows10Debloater to remove bloatware on your Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems. This tool can be useful for users who want to streamline their operating system by removing unnecessary pre-installed applications.
Your step-by-step guide is clear and helpful for others who might want to use this tool to declutter their systems. Just a quick reminder for others to always exercise caution when removing pre-installed applications, as some of these applications may have dependencies or functions that are necessary for the overall system stability.
If anyone is planning to use this tool, it's a good practice to back up your system or create a system restore point just in case unexpected issues arise during the bloatware removal process. Thank you for sharing this tool and your experience with it!
