VIDEO Yikes! Lenovo is vendor-locking AMD Ryzen CPUs via PSB

The real reason they do this is to stop retail stores (Harvey Norman) stealing parts from systems and selling them on to consumers full of cheap junk... Personally I'm fine with it as a long time Asus user I have gotten used to the scams that happen when you allow middle men to be unsupervised
