I have this problem. Since yesterday, i noticed i cant listen any sound coming from sources as websites (youtube and such vstreaming video websites) tho sound looks fine thru mp3 player, and windows alerts. I read around this is related to Flash player, ive tried solutions presented but no sucess.

Anyone has any tip about what is happening?

The only thing i remember doin different was to install some codec pack for windows 7 i found around that solved the problem i was having with bsplayer soundless. Maybe that solved one problem to create another.

thanks for the attention

It seems like you are encountering an issue where you are unable to hear sound from sources like websites (such as YouTube) while the sound works fine through the MP3 player and Windows alerts. This issue could be related to Flash Player, but since Flash Player is largely deprecated, it's more likely to be a different problem. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check Volume Mixer: - Make sure that the volume for your web browser is not muted or set too low in the Volume Mixer. Right-click the volume icon in the system tray and select "Open Volume Mixer" to adjust the volume levels for different applications. 2. Update Audio Drivers: - It's essential to ensure that your audio drivers are...

Right-click the volume icon in the system tray and select "Open Volume Mixer" to adjust the volume levels for different applications. 2. Update Audio Drivers: - It's essential to ensure that your audio drivers are up to date. Outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause sound issues. You can update the drivers through Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers. 3. Browser Settings: - Check the sound settings in your web browser. Make sure that the browser is not muted, and sound settings are configured correctly. 4. Disable Browser Extensions: - Some browser extensions could potentially interfere with sound playback on websites. Try disabling any extensions related to audio or video playback to see if that resolves the issue. 5. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: - Clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser can sometimes help resolve sound issues on websites. This action can refresh the browser and may fix any underlying problems. 6. Test in Different Browser: - Try testing the sound playback in a different web browser to see if the issue is specific to one browser. If sound works in another browser, it may indicate a browser-specific problem. 7. Uninstall Codec Pack: - Since you mentioned installing a codec pack around the time the issue started, consider uninstalling the codec pack to see if it resolves the sound problem. Codec packs can sometimes conflict with audio settings. 8. Check Sound Settings: - Ensure that the default audio playback device is set correctly. Sometimes, the system may switch to a different audio output device, causing sound issues. By following these steps, you may be able to identify and resolve the sound issue you are experiencing on websites. If the problem persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
