have anyone tried file sharing between ubuntu(virtual machine) and win7(host). unable to view host(win7) from ubuntu9.05(vm) (places->network). help plz..:redface:

Try using the IP Address to connect. When I was trying out Ubuntu 8.10 that was the only way I could get it to work at all. Since then I lost the hard drive I was using Ubuntu on so I haven't tried 9.04. They say it's better though.
