In the Computer folder. This is my second install of windows 7 64 on this PC and I had this problem both times. After the install, when I first bring up the computer folder, the C rive icon appears OK but as soon as I manipulates it, it is replaced by a low res broken icon. Now the broken icon is there all the time.
How do I resolve this issue?

I'm not sure why your computer is doing this but here's a great list of useful registry functions --something in this lot should help you.
