📎 AI Summary:
The WindowsForum thread discusses how to combine multiple partitions into a single one in Windows 7. The original poster wants to extend their primary partition but faces limitations, as the extend option is unavailable for FAT32 partitions and logical drives within extended partitions. Several users suggest deleting the smaller drives and extended partition to merge free space, but the original poster is seeking a direct extension method, questioning why certain options don't work. Overall, the thread highlights common partition management challenges and differs in solution approaches.

The two drives shown are logical drives within an extended partition. You need to:

1. Delete each of the two logical drives.

2. Delete the extended partition. You can then:

3. Extend the main partition to use all of the freed space.

If you notice in your screenshot you'll see the partitions you wish to extend are FAT32 whilst your main partition (the one with windows on is NTFS). Try formating the partitions into NTFS and then extending.

I appericiate your approach but there should be a possibility of extend option between the other two drives that are in FAT32 then why didn't it work in that case
