Windows 7 Got a Dell want to get rid of that preinstalled stuff ?

You still need to format and start fresh. There is no other correct way to fully assure a clean install.
Not hard at all, drivers are always online. Any Windows 7 guy should have this skill fully mastered.

I love it.

I think it should be made ILLEGAL to supply a PC WITHOUT THE OS INSTALLATION DISK -- and I mean a proper OS installation disk not a Hard disk image or a recovery image on a DVD (which just re-installs all the bloatware again).

You've got a Windows license anyway with the PC so why don't they give you the OEM Disk in any case.

I've never yet seen a "Shop bought" PC without loads of totally unnecessary adware, trials, and generally total crapware installed on it.
