When I try to download various softwares, or recently, I bought a book that had a DVD full of templates. I would get this message when I tried to use setup.exe Just recently, I downloaded Acxrobat 9.0, and when I wanted to use setup.exe, this message appeared.
This installer package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package

Any suggestions why I can't download software?

Hi! I think you may have to update your Microsoft Installer. Link Removed The article lists links to other office set ups....Error Codes (Windows)
