I have just installed Windows 8 Pro 64-bit and added Windows Media Center.

However I notice in the TV section there is no mention of the EPG despite it seemingly downloading the data during setup. Is there anything I can do short of formatting to remedy this please.

Hi Nick,

it may be the case of it being early days and hopefully a later update will set things right. I noticed my media center updated as soon as I ran it (although what for I've yet to find out).

hmm well the previous install was showing ok. I did notice sfc reporting some corruption. I hope that was the reason as I may have to reformat again.

I redid the setup process again and the EPG has re-appeared. Not sure what happened last time.
