I have 2 monitors, extending the desktop. If I move a screen to the 2 nd monitor then move it back, the mouse cursor disappears behind the second screen, appearing on the surface of the first screen. ???

Solution
Right click on a screen background, select Display Settings, there you should see your displays, marked with 1, 2.
Right click on them and drag them to a place in accordance with the place on your desk.
